Salt Lake nips Las Vegas 5-4 to take a 2-0 series lead.

Rafael Montero was off his game: 4.1 IP, 3 R, 5 H, (HR) 3 BB, 2 K.

Robert Carson ( L, 0-2) takes the loss in the 9th inning for the 2nd night in a row: 1.0 IP, R, H, 2 BB.

 

Kirk Nieuwenhuis: 1-3, HR, RBI, R.

Ruben Tejada: 2-4, R.

Rylan Sandoval: 1-4, 2 RBI.

Las Vegas now has their work cut out for them, requiring them to run the table as the series moves back to their home field.

 

 

Trenton trips Binghamton 2-1, takes 2-0 series lead.

Darin Gorski (L, 0-1) pitched well, but got no run support: 7.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, 0 BB, 5 K.

Adam Kolarek pitched a perfect 8th inning with 1 K.

 

Josh Rodriguez: 1-3, HR, RBI, R.

The series now moves to Binghamton with the B-Mets backs to the wall, needing to win 3 straight to take it all.
