Ernest -

If he strikes oput a little less, and walks a little more, he could move fast.

Some of our Metsies are really tearing it up in winter ball. Never mind Beccera's 7 game hitting streak, In the 21 games he has played thus far, 74 ABs, he is hitting .405 with a .916 OPS.

In 85 ABs, T.J. Rivera is hitting .306 with a .838 OPS.
In 119 ABs, Johnny Monell is only hitting .269, but with his 392 OBP and his .420 SLG, he has a .814 OPS.
Dom Smith: 47 ABs, .362/.483/511/.994.
Flores and Cecchini are also hitting the hide off the ball, but in too small a sample size to get excited about.
