As part of my "beat a dead horse" series, reflecting back once again on all the negative press Tim Tebow received this fall based on his supposedly low production, I happened to notice the following stats:
TEBOW: 12 for 62, 8 walks
ASDRUBAL CABRERA AND JUAN LAGARES, COMBINED: 8 for 58, 2 walks.
So, if Cabrera and Lagares were to somehow get on base their next 12 times up, they'd have the same OBP as that baseball joke, Tim Tebow.
Of course, Tim Tebow will shock everyone if he ever has 1/4 of the MLB success of Cabrera and 1/2 the MLB success of Lagares. He may shock many people if ever makes the majors.
But heck, just wanted to point the above offseason output disparity, for no particular reason :) - than to be mischievous.
