2018 Draft - Mets Pick #8: RHP Tylor Megill - Arizona

2016:  ylor Megill is another guy that Jay Johnson has been familiar with. Megill was originally going to attend USD, but when Johnson took the Nevada head coaching job, Megill ended up going to Loyola Marymount, where his older brother Trevor was playing at the time. Trevor has since been drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 7th round of the 2015 draft.

Tylor, on the other hand, went 6-3 in his freshman season at LMU, including being the starting pitcher in a 9-0 win over Arkansas. Right now at Cypress CC, he is 8-0 in ten appearances:

Another reliever:

           2018 – 19-G, 1-ST, 1-3, 4.68, 1.59, 32.2-IP, 38-K, 14.BB

This seems like a rebuild draft so for the now team this sucks

I'm waiting for that one guy that they over pay or / slot value but he seems never to get drafted so I'm not sure where they're going with all this
