The 51s defeated the Aces, 5-3, in the opener of the brief four-game homestand before a Budweiser Dollar Beer Night crowd of 5,582 at Cashman Field.
Las Vegas built a 3-1 lead after 6 innings; Reno then tied the game at 3-3; the 51s scored two runs in the seventh inning to break the tie. First baseman Peter Alonso (1-for-3) delivered an RBI double to give L.V. a 4-3 lead.
51s left-hander P.J. Conlon pitched 6.2 innings in the no decision. He allowed 8 hits, 3 runs, walked 2 and struck out 3 on 99 pitches (70 strikes).
Shortstop Christian Colon was 2-for-4, double, RBI, run scored and second baseman Jeff McNeil was 2-for-4, double, run scored.

Too bad they did not pull Conlon after 6 shutout innings to help his ERA.
McNeil 8 for 20, 3 doubles, and 2 walks since being promoted to AAA (which most folks forget he played at for a while last year).
