Acton is a left-handed hitting 2B with strength and a compact, athletic build. He has a calm set up in the box, produces power with a medium leg kick in his swing and loft to path. He looks to impact the baseball and do damage mostly pull side. Can get overly uphill at times and hurts his ability to make contact. Acton is a solid defender at 2B and can work at 3B as well with average hands and first step. He has above average arm strength for 3B and is an average runner. This summer he hit .304 with 3 doubles and 8 RBI’s. His approach at the plate leads to swing and miss which he will need to cut down on to boost his 2021 draft stock.

Started and played in 15 games (all at second base)
Ranked third on the team with 12 walks, posting a .364 on-base percentage
Posted two multi-hit games, and had two games with at least two runs
Matched his career high with four walks against Marshall (Feb 15)
