mack- do you have anything regarding the fact the Fmart may need Tommy Johns surgery?
From what they are saying, F-Mart will rest for 3 weeks then resume a throwing program a week into ST, so if all goes well he should be fine...
It sounds like he may need surgery after the season and can play with the injury for 2009

the only thing i know about Martinez is he's now considered both fragile, and untradable...
teams don't want players that always have boo-boos, so let's pray he's the real deal becuase it looks like he's a Met for life
