B-Mets-Curve Contest Moved to Later Date
BINGHAMTON, NY – Due to an excessive number of games in the past week for the visiting Curve, Tuesday’s regularly-scheduled contest between Binghamton and Altoona has been moved to a later date. Despite the transplanted game, the B-Mets and Curve will be in action tonight at NYSEG Stadium to complete their suspended game from Monday night.
Last night’s game was halted with two outs in the bottom of the first inning due to torrential rain. The clubs will resume the scoreless contest at 5:05 PM tonight and play it to a nine-inning completion.
The B-Mets (50-29) own the best record among all three Double-A leagues and sit nine games ahead of the Portland Sea Dogs in first place in the Eastern Division. The Horizons Federal Credit Union Pregame show beginning at 4:50 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
