Can Ceciliani be to position prospects what deGrom has been as a pitching prospect. It wont be to the same level. Ceciliani would have to be Stanton like to pull that off but he has been a pleasant surprise. I hpe he keeps it up. I think I would like to see him in there on a regular basis over Granderson. I no Collins wont allow that to happen.

Richard, Ceciliani may have a high ceiling. His biggest problem has been staying healthy, having played just 350 games in 4 full season leagues from 2011-2014. I love his 115 minor league steals, and this year, is finally showing the kind of power more suited to a 6'1". 220 guy. Maybe he is a hidden gem.

He had a so-so .289 season while repeating Binghamton in 2014, so objectively speaking, he is a very pleasant surprise in 2015.

@Tom and Rich

Lets not get too excited and set unrealistic expectations. Ceciliani is guy with a ceiling as a good role player. He's brings good value to the bench but he'll get exposed if he receives too many starts just like Campbell was. He's HOT right now though...enjoy it and ride the hot hand while it last.....cause it will eventually end.

Surprised that he is officially listed at 220. Must be the vertical stripes.
