Chris Flexen Named SAL Player of the Week

The South Atlantic League office announced today that RHP Chris Flexen has been named Player of the Week for the week of August 17-23. Flexen is the fourth different Sand Gnat to be named POTW this season.

Hopefully Flexen is Fulmer's replacement as a top Met starting pitching prospect.

I believe Mack has been high on this kid for a bit - the pitching train continues, even with some cars moved to other tracks.

Losing Fulmer is going to bother me for a while but if Wheeler becomes what he was expected to be, it will lessen the impact.
