Boy, these guys are OLD
Not Hector Santiago, that much I know :)
Shocked that Dellin Betances is/will be 32. Wow.
Can one cheap, young arm be Blake Taylor?
Maybe former 2nd round lefty Blake Taylor could be a good solution for the pen.
Taylor has had a great year in A and AA and fall league as he switched over to being a reliever in 2019.
Familia was a lousy minor league starter, like Taylor, but when he switched to the pen, his career took off. Maybe Taylor will, too.
Including fall league, 73 innings, 2.16 ERA, 11 of 12 saves, 83 Ks. Ate lefties up in 2019.
Major League Deals (kick the tires, at least):
Tony Watson
Pedro Strop
Joe Smith
Sergio Romo
Yusmeiro Petit
Minor League Deals:
Addison Reed
Jerry Blevins
Luis Avilan
Darren O’Day
Trevor Rosenthal
Seunghwan Oh
