I don't know about a utility role but if BVW can convince the Wilpons that they're out from under Cespedes in a year, then Rendon could be the RH bat to replace him.
Rendon, Rendon, Rendon - think like a Yankee GM and break the bank to get him.
Do we really think that Fred is going to come up with the ching to pay both Rendon and a quality veteran manager?
