Top of the order type hitter lacking much punch in terms of impact with the bat. Has started for the Tigers since he was a true freshman in centerfield. Plus runner with a plus arm; takes very strong routes to the ball. Body can add some more weight and work his way into a 40-grade power tool. For now, projects a 50-hitter that lacks slug but can go get it in the field and on the basepaths. Role 40 guy.

Giovanni DiGiacomo is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Canterbury HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength and room for more. 6.57 runner, has run 6.45 in the past, 4.09 home to first and can go lower, speed player who plays hard. Left handed hitter, rotational swing with a short hand path to the ball, has advanced barrel skills and makes line drive contact to all fields, top of the order hitter who gets on base and causes havoc. Has quick feet in the outfield and works through the ball well, still working on throwing footwork to take advantage of his natural arm strength. Live bodied athlete who knows how to use his speed.
