Observation: Once again, this kind of look at the team exposes another position without any pop and loads of fizz. It’s pretty much decided that next year is Martinez’ year to go to Queens, and it sure looks like he’s on the right team. I think his trip this week to the DL is his 6th as a Met, which makes him quite at home with the walking wounded called the Mets. Other than him, there is no right fielder in the pipe worth polishing. Once again, sad.
