Marcos Tabata – RP – GCL – July 8: 1.0-IP, 0-H, 0-R, 2-K, 1.23… opponent batting average this season only .172.
Luis Hernandez – RP – DSL – 18-years old – one outing this week… July 9: 3.0-IP, 2-ER, 0-K… 0.73 ERA

Carlos Avellones – SP – VSL - July 8: 6.0-IP, 1-ER, 1.13… Avellones was a highly touted prospect who has only 4 outngs so far this season, all good.
Nestor Moreno – C – VSL – Moreno continues to lead the team in hitting, but he’s not being used as the starting catcher, and plays all him games as the DH. You simply can’t help promote someone this low in the system if he isn’t good enough defensively to earn a position, so I’m going to drop him off my list until he earned the starting cather role. Trust me, 99.99% of DHer in the VSL and DSL system never come stateside. It’s called having to play a little thing called defense.
