Binghamton Mets Announce Front Office Changes
BINGHAMTON, NY –Binghamton Mets General Manager, Jim Weed announced today that Heith Tracy-Bronson will serve as the club’s Assistant General Manager.
“Heith has done an outstanding job every year he has been with the organization,” said Weed. “From the day he arrived as an intern, he has proven that he deserves the job.”
Tracy-Bronson started working for the B-Mets as an intern in 2006, shortly after graduating from Ithaca College with a BS in Sports Management. He was added to the staff permanently as a Group Sales Associate following his first season and became the Director of Marketing in 2008.
The new title for Tracy-Bronson highlights several changes in the Binghamton Mets’ front office.
Joe Pascarella has been named the B-Mets’ Box Office Manager. Pascarella, a 2011 graduate of SUNY Cortland with a degree in Sports Management, spent last year with the team as a box office intern. The Sidney, NY native takes over for Casey Both, who accepted a position in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ ticketing office.
Tim Heiman, another former B-Mets intern, will serve as the new Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Heiman worked as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Assistant to Matt McCabe last season.
The B-Mets also welcome two new-comers to the ballpark. Rob Sternberg takes the reins as the Director of Video Production and Josh Patton will serve as Corporate Sales Executive.
Sternberg spent last season as Video Production Assistant with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. He graduated from Emerson College in 2008 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Prior to his time with the Naturals, the Oceanside, NY native produced MMA and boxing shows for INASECTV.com.
Sternberg replaces Jon Cofer, who currently works in the video production department for the New Jersey Devils.
Patton, born and raised in Vestal, NY, brings more than twenty years of sales experience to the B-Mets. He and his wife, Tammy, have five children; Steven, Ashley, Megan, Victoria and Cameron.
“Joe and Tim did a great job with us last year and we’re thrilled to have them back,” Weed said.“We know what they’re capable of and we’re confident Rob and Josh will follow suit.”
