Not a very good day in Mets Galaxy today, as every Mets satellite joins the parent club on the losing side of the ledger.

Tucson (77-67) trips Las Vegas (81-63) 5-4.

Daryl Thompson gets the start: 3.0 IP, R, 2 H, (HR) 0 BB, K.

Newly signed Aaron Harang: 4.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, (HR) BB, 5 K. I am hoping we see Aaron back in the big leagues soon, ready to start in place of Matsuzaka next time out.

Jack Leathersich: 1,0 IP, 0 R, H, BB, K.

Cory Wade: (BS, 1) (L, 0-3)  1.0 IP, 2 R, 2 H.

 

Rylan Sandoval: 2-4, 2 2B, R.

Juan Centeno: 3-4, 2 3B, RBI.

 

Binghamton (86-55) is blasted by New Hampshire (68-72) 8-1.

Mark Cohoon: (L, 9-5) 5.0 IP, 2 R, 7 H, 0 BB, 2 K.

Hamilton Bennett pitched a perfect inning with 2 K.

Chasen Bradford allowed a run (unearned) on 1 BB in his 1.0 inning.

 

Richard Lucas: 1-3, 2B, R.

 

St Lucie (71-60) not scheduled

 

Greenville (51-87) again edges Savannah (77-61) 1-0.

Marcos Camarena (L, 2-2) pitched well enough to win, but came away with a loss: 6.0 IP, R, 3 H, BB, 6 K.

Three Sand Gnats relievers, Wanel Mesa, Paul Sewald and Beck Wheeler, were each perfect in an inning of work.

 

The Sand Gnats generate no offense.

 

Tri City (43-31) trims Brooklyn (37-36) 3-1.

Darwin Frias: 5.1 IP, R, 4 H, 2 BB, 3 K.

David Wynn is perfect for 1.2 innings with 2 K.

Christian Chivilli, on the other hand, is less than perfect: 1.0 IP, 2 R, 3 H.

 

Jared King: 1-3, R.

Juan Carlos Gamboa: 1-3, RBI.

 

Greeneville stops Kingsport 7-2 in Game 2 of Appy League Playoffs, series tied 1-1.

Carlos Gomez: (L, 0-1)  4.1 IP, 5 R, 6 H, (2 HR) BB, 2 K.

 

Yeixon Ruiz: 2-3, HR, BB, RBI, R.

Jeyckol De Leon: 1-4, HR, RBI, R.

Dominic Smith: 2-4.

Pedro Perez: 2-4.

Herb-- There was some discussion about Victor Cruzado yesterday in Mack's column. I note that he has only played 5 games since Aug 10 and all at DH. Is he hurt?
