didn't lose anyone in the MLB phase of Rule 5 Draft so Cory Vaughn, Chase Huchingson, Joel Carreno all remain in the organization.

Can't wait to prove my worth this spring.

Looks like Seth Rosin and Zack Wheeler are buddies from their Giants days...

Drafted in the 4th round (138th overall) by the San Francisco Giants in 2010 (signed for $191,700) Draft Report [-] Premium
Few pitchers who are Rosin's size (6-foot-6, 245 pounds) can match his body control. He repeats his delivery and throws strikes so easily that he posted one of the top K-BB ratios (88-12 through 95 innings) in NCAA Division I this spring. Rosin topped out at 96 mph in the Cape Cod League last summer and has pitched at 91-92 mph with a peak of 94 this spring. His fastball is pretty straight, which makes it easier to throw for strikes but also easier to hit. His curveball and changeup have improved but still are fringy, and he's going to need more fastball life and better secondary pitches to miss bats in pro ball. He may fit better in the bullpen, where he would project as a possible set-up man.

Rosin is being traded as we speak.

I was surprised to see them pick Rosin, but if it was to trade him it makes more sense. I didn't think Sandy would make a selection in this year's Rule 5 since the roster is likely to be pretty crowded as it is. In the event he did, however, I had Zack Thornton, a 26 year old righty from the Pirates, who had an excellent 2013 in AA and AAA, as my #1. My #2, Brian Moran, was selected by the Jays just before the Mets picked Rosin.

Mets lose 3 in the minor league portion. Vazquez and Fuller are prospects and will be missed, imo.

Jon Velasquez is an interesting pickup. He could actually compete for a spot in the pen in ST.

Glad to see all our guys made it through the major league portion. There were a few I thought could have gone.

Vazquez and Fuller are not prospects. They are good minor league players but that's all.

I'm not sure if the Jon Velasquez we picked was an Indy guy with killer stats... can you Rule 5 Indy guys

Mack,

On 11/21 the Minnesota Twins signed him to a minor league contract so thats what made him Rule 5 eligible.
