This is too bad. I was really hoping the Mets would take a stab at him to see if he could get back to the dominant pitcher he's always been.Halladay must have had a set-back in his recovery that made him believe he wouldn't be able to pitch at a high level again.
He would have been a great minor league contract signing, and given the opportunity to win the SP5 out of camp.I must have been tough for him to make this call.Sad
