Just learned that Noah Song, who went on the 60-day IL this morning, needs Tommy John surgery. More adversity for right-hander, who after his 2019 debut had a multi-year absence due to his military commitment, followed by a roller-coaster 2023 with the Phillies as a Rule 5 pick.

Matt McLain, a key Reds piece, seriously hurt his shoulder in a “key moment for the 2024 pennant race”. Yes, he hurt it diving in a meaningless spring training game, when idiots forget that it’s meaningless-to-the-regular-season TRAINING TIME and instinctually go into Flying Wallenda mode. All it did was likely cost the Reds a shot at the playoffs. No biggie.
Now we have two Ninja Warriors in the organization. Scott is very impressive. Maybe this generation’s David Cone?
6 managers since 2017 dam they change managers more often than fastfood joints change em. DS must stop that and hopefully this year will start a new trend PLEASE.
