Bark In The Park at the Gnats Game

The Savannah Sand Gnats return home to Historic Grayson Stadium for a promotion-filled, six-game homestand beginning tonight at 7 p.m. versus Rome. The Gnats start their final two home series before the All-Star Break with three games against the Braves and three against the Augusta GreenJackets starting Friday. The Coastal Health District sponsors Home Run for Health night at Historic Grayson Stadium on Saturday night. The fun starts when gates open at 6 p.m. where fans can hula hoop and jump rope at special Community Field Day stations. Once entering the ballpark, Gnate the Gnat and a Sand Gnats team member will conduct a training session for fans from the playing field. Fans can get free body mass index screenings and blood pressure screenings during the 7 p.m. contest. The first 100 fans will receive a “Tobacco is Whacko!” drawstring backpack and 100 free child-size swimming pools will be offered as part of our “Beat the Heat” campaign. Sunday is our first of two Bark in the Park days presented by TailsSpin and WRHQ. Fans can bring their dog to watch the entire 2 p.m. contest. It is also a Family Sunday courtesy of BIG 98.3, The CW and the Savannah Morning News. Friday is Cancer Survivors Night presented by the American Cancer Society. Those that are pre-registered with the American Cancer Society are eligible for a free G/A ticket to Friday night’s game.
