Newly arrived 2B Luis Rivera started Wednesday and singled his first time at bat.
Offense wise, I have to say that this team just doesn’t have that much, especially since the departure of F-Mart. Why does every Mets’ AAA team have to suck so much?
Norfolk threw up SP Bobby Livingston, who recently bumped up after going 5-1, 3.80 at AA.
Livingston’s numbers were impressive: 7.0 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 4 K.
The Herd tied it up in the 8th with a bunch of singles and a passed ball.
SP Francesco Nieve’s numbers: 6.0, 5 H, 3 ER, 5K, 1 BB, 3.70.
