Is Canelon still Mets property? I thought he was cut or traded last month.
He declared free agency and signed a new minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds.
Per our annual normal course of business though.....if the player starts the winter leagues as Mets property.....we continue to follow him until the Winter League ends.

my take on Canelon is that he was a good pitcher for the Mets Minors, but may still not have been in the Mets Minors top 20 pitchers. Maybe he will grade out much higher with Cincy.
