I am curious...
Do you see a future for Carillo on the Mets?
BTW i remain a john mora fan. I like em. Hes a tough out. Good defensively all 3 OF spots. Not saying he's a true legit major leaguer. Just saying I like em.
Hey Ernest - how's it going - like Mora as you might, he was in his 6th season in 2017, mostly in St Lucie, and was just .259/.320/.346 with 107 Ks. Seems like he will come up short, in terms of big leagues, unless he has another gear.
At a younger age, Juan Lagares hit .349 between Lucie and Bingo in 2011.
Absolutely. I can't help my bias for my hometown minors team ;)
I swear though every game I went to, when Lucie faced a legit pitcher, Mora would be the guy getting the walk or one of the 2/3 team hits that night etc. I have a soft spot for him because of that.
@Mack
With Nido expected to open 2018 in AAA and Mazeika right behind him in AA....Carrillo no longer has future in the Mets organization. Also.....if Im not mistaken, he too has declared minor league Free Agency.
