The Express defeated the 51s, 10-6, in game three of the four-game series (Round Rock leads series, 3-0) on Sunday afternoon before a crowd of 2,706 at Cashman Field.
Round Rock built a 6-1 lead after 3 ½ innings and right fielder Scott Heineman led the Express with a 3-for-5, HR, 6 RBI, two runs scored performance. He hit a three-run homer in the third inning; a two-run single in the fourth; RBI single in the ninth.
Las Vegas right-hander Chris Flexen suffered the loss. He tied his season-high with 7 innings pitched and allowed 10 hits, 6 runs, walked 1 and struck out a season-high 10 batters on 99 pitches.
Round Rock left-hander Michael Roth recorded the victory. He pitched 6 innings and allowed 4 hits, 2 runs 1 (earned), walked 2 and struck out 7.
