The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, were defeated by the Memphis Redbirds, 11-3, Sunday afternoon from Jupiter, FL.
The Bisons are now 0-2-1 in their 11-game exhibition schedule. Saturday’s game against New Orleans was postponed due to rain.
Bisons infielder Jose Coronado accounted for two of Buffalo’s runs with a two-run home run, his first of the spring. He finished the game 1-3.
Infielder Rob Mackowiak was 3-4 in the game while outfielder Fernando Martinez was 2-5 at the plate.
