The B-Mets offense was strong but not enough as the team fell to the Springfield Cardinals 9-5. Third baseman Shawn Bowman led the offense going 2-3 with a double and three RBIs. Starting at second base tonight Emmanuel Garcia went 1-5 with a single and an RBI. Catcher Francisco Pena added a single of his own and an RBI to round out the scoring the the B-Mets.
NY Mets prospect pitcher Brad Holt took the loss despite three strong innings. He surrendered four hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one. Other noticeable pitching outings were Eddie Camacho throwing a scoreless inning with a strikeout and Eric Brown throwing two innings and allowed three hits and two runs.
