Mack,
I am not trying to rain on anybody's parade here but wouldn't you agree that Ike Davis and Carlos Guzman are a bit more deserving than Havens, Nieuwenhuis or Pena. Let's see Pena has batted at or near 200 throughout the season and Havens is batting in the 220s, has a boat load of errors and has very limited range. Where's the logic in these choices or it is just that the FSL couldn't find a shortstops with better defensive skills and a catcher that can hit above 200? Hold on here... Isn't Havens on the DL for six weeks and if so would they choose another St. Lucie player to replace him or will they look for a shortstop that's hitting above 230 and has better defensive skills?

SB:

Rain away...

These picks make no sense...

Pena is not an all-star. Nice kid, but so far, three years of wasted bonus money (come on frankie... read this, get mad, and go do something...).

Guzman defintely deserved an all-star nod, but there's no Met bonus money invested in him...

sounds very political...
