At least some Mets team beat the Pirates
The VSL Mets won 8-4 on Thursday.
Jesus Barreto (1.74) relieved starter Ernesto Yanez, throwing up 4.0 innings with no earned runs.
DH/C Nestor Moreno (.375) and CF Briener Soto (.364) are quickly becoming the top hitters for the team. Soto had two hits on Thursday; Moreno had three.
3B Jairo Castillo had his 9th error of the season… in 15 games… he’s also batting .160. I give him two weeks.
