The Mets Future - 3B

3B:

This one looks simple. David Wright will remain the Mets third baseman until someone comes along talented enough to push Wright to first.

Shawn Bowman, who is having a decent year in Binghamton, was once considered a higher prospect than Wright, but that was before he broke his back… twice. As well as he has played the past two years, I still think this is the best you’ll get from Bowman.

The highest ceiling third base prospect is 16-year old Jenry Marte, who is struggling in Savannah. He’s also setting the all-time record for the most errors for a third baseman in the Sally league, so, needless to say, this is a work in progress,

No, I hope you Mets fans can live with this, but David Wright is going to have to be your future third baseman.
Future Status: David Wright
