The VSl Mets lost, 3-1, to the VSL Tigers.
The Mets had only three hits two of which were by streaking LF Ismael Tijerina (.321).
Timerina played 53 games for the Mets last year, hitting .214.
SP Victor Peralta did pitch another good game (5.0 IP, 4H, 2ER, 6 K) and stretched his yearly ERA to 1.06.
16-year old RP Miller Diaz made his first appearance, pitching 0.2 innings, 0ER. I don’t have anyting on Diaz, other than he’s younger than my automobile.
