The New York Mets will host its third annual Military Transition Summit on Saturday, June 24 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Citi Field, inviting veterans, active service members, spouses, and organizations to attend.
This year’s theme, “Tools & Resources for Hacking Your Transition,” will empower all recent service members and Veterans across New York City as they face the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. The New York Mets Military Transition Summit will allow participants to engage with experts, learn new insights and connect with their community. The event will provide invaluable information and support to all those who attend. It will feature meaningful and interactive experiences by implementing discussion panels and breakout rooms. There will be several professional development topics discussed such as:
1. Career and Education Networking
2. Job Preparation and Entrepreneurship
3. Resources for Women Veterans
4. Health and Emotional Wellness workshops
5. Housing Security
6. Navigating NYC
Mets will also provide lunch, giveaways, a tour of Citi Field, and a chance to meet Mr. & Mrs. Met.
Admission is free, and parking will be provided in Lot B & D. Mets have reached the maximum occupancy for this year’s event and are no longer accepting new registrations at this time.
