Tommy White, Paul Skenes and Thatcher Hurd -- all transfers -- carried LSUbaseball to the CWS Finals on Thursday night. Love it or hate it, it's proof that the portal-heavy concept can pay huge dividends.

Charlee Soto (Mets draft target) has an upper-90s FB and plus CH that make him one of the top prep arms in the 2023 class, but it’s the continuing SL development that can take his profile to another level. 86-88, 2500+ RPM and flashes some sharp tilt
JIm Callis - MLB Pipeline -
Hardest Thrower: George Klassen, RHP, Minnesota
Klassen probably has more arm speed than anyone in this Draft, and his lightning-fast right arm produces fastballs that average 98 mph and peak at 102. He had Tommy John surgery in 2021 and has fought the strike zone throughout his college career, but he can bring the heat.
Dan Zielinski III (@DanZielinski3)
Wisconsin prep RHP Dylan Questad (@DylanQuestad) was nearly unhittable and allowed just three runs all season. He earned Gatorade’s Wisconsin Player of the Year

I’ll draft any fireballer who can provide an iron-clas assurance he will have as much injury avoidance as Nolan Ryan.
Soto sounds like a very good pick. Klassen might be worth it as a pen arm.
Good one would be LSU Ty Floyd who strikeout 17 Florida batters in yesterday's game 1 of the CWS finals
With us it's gotten to the point where any kid that can pitch and is still breathing is worth a shot. Our minor league system needs a major upgrade and the EE trade for arms is a start now they just have to continue and once again Stevie's willingness to eat salary should make the next 6 weeks very interesting. Canha, Vogy, Marte, LuisG., Otto, Robertson and even Max on his last year with only a player option for 24' is possible. The big hurdle always is when does the FO pull the plug on the season but maybe they already have. Parada is looking alot like a real player and nothing can be better than 2 catchers who can hit but guys here's the question: can Kevin stick at catcher?
Probably somewhere else but not in Queens
All hitting woes aside, Alvarez is turning into a ++ defensive catcher.
And Parada plays no other position
The kind of prospect talent that can bring proper pitcher return in a trade
Parada appears to be a very athletic catcher who could play multiple positions if given a chance.
They have said that FOR YEARS about Ronny Mauricio
