The DSL Blue Jays beat the Mets, 5-4, in 10 innings.
Everything was going along well for the Mets. SP Erigson Sanchez put up six scoreless innings (2.53), and they led 2-0 going into the bottom of the ninth. The Blue Jays tied it up in the 9th against RP Yancarlos Javier, followed by three more runs in the tenth.
Randolf Santana (.321), hit his first home run of the young season, and OF Gilbert Gomez hit his second.
