TODAY’S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Gwinnett Braves in the second game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd dropped the first game of the series last night, 6-1. Tonight’s game is the second of the Herd’s modern-era record 16-game homestand. This season, the Bisons are 10-7 at home.

vs. BRAVES: The Bisons are 3-2 against the Gwinnett Braves this season. The two teams met May 7-10 at Coolray Field with all four games being decided by three runs or less. Buffalo is 8-5 all-time against the Braves at Coca-Cola Field, including a 3-1 mark last season.

The southpaw struck out 10 batters in three different starts in 2007 while with Norfolk. Olson has not allowed more than three runs in any start this season.

STREAKIN’: OFVINNY ROTTINO singled yesterday to extend his hit streak to 18 games. Since the stretch began on April 18, the outfielder has averaged .329 (23-70) with eight extra-base hits. It is the longest active streak in the International League and only two games shy of a 20-game streak set by Toledo’s Brad Eldred earlier this year.

LEWIS: OFFRED LEWIS tripled for the second straight game last night.  Lewis has had five hits over the last two games for the Bisons and is hitting .306 on the year after being signed on April 26.  In just fifteen starts this year, the outfielder has five multi-hit games with the Herd.
