8:43PM - Plawecki has an inner-ear infection. Could play tomorrow, but Colon likes Recker, so probably Sunday for Plawecki
9:01pm - Change in diagnosis... Plawecki has a virus that is causing head congestion. Day to day.

This is truly unbelievable.
On the short end, I assume he will be tonight's backup catcher because it's too late to send someone up. I don't know if this means he has to go on the Dl yet.
There comes a point that even TC has to laugh about all this. I can't hold any loss against this team from this moment on. You have no idea how things like this play on the heads of what's left of this team.
So, what do we do? Rush D'Arnaud back from his rehab. or depend on Recker and Monell for a week or two. My vote is to get TDA back as soon as a jet can get him here. Even if he's not in shape, he's expected back in a week or so. Lethim play up here. He's got to be better than the Monell/Recker duo.

This happened to him in Vegas last year, too. If they don't get him a full medical workup this time, instead of just resting him a few days like they did last year, they're taking a huge chance with him.
As of 3 minutes ago Plawecki is not back from the doctors
Muno and Campbell are the backup catchers tonight with Plawecki sidelined.
