Aaron Fitt/D1 Baseball- @aaronfitt
Trevor Larnach - Larnach is regarded as a likely first-rounder for the draft.
That's a big-time lefthanded bat with power to all fields.
Kris Bubic is laboring (5/13). Bumped 94 once early and 93 a few
times... But he's sitting at 87-88 in the 4th and spraying his fastball all
over. Changeup is fine, but curveball is a well below average looper at 73-75
with no bite today. Not a good look today.

Heimlich is killing it every time, it seems. Other big arms are sputtering a bit.
Mesoraco's name is pronounced "Harvey who?"
heimlich will not be drafted
Anon
You are probably right about Heimlich.
He is a real piece of work.
My guess he will either go undrafted or be picked by the Nats
On Relatives and Family Members in Sports today by Tom Brennan...
I have another one for you Tom, Lee J. Cobb and Cornon Da Cobb.
Anonymous, you and another person are in a Ty there.
Last Two Games...
Exceedingly encouraging two games against the Arizona DBacks. It was nice to see these NY Mets players come together so victoriously once again. Salt and Pepper was flying I tell 'ya! Kudos to everyone on the team really. Now do you all understand the importance of Noah and Jake?
Next up are the Miami Marlins.
Player that I will be watching of course is catcher JT Realmuto. This should be a fun Mets series. After that, the Milwaukee Brewers are up. The player there I will be watching is Josh Hader, 24 year old outstanding lefty reliever with (get this) 56 strikeouts in just 27 innings. That's two an inning! He also sports a 2-0 record, .51 WHIP, 1.32 ERA so far in 2018. His career ERA is 1.80.
Can you imagine how good this NY Mets baseball team would be with Realmuto and Hader in orange and blue? It's the stuff dreams are made of.
Nice two series this should be.
Mets kid arms down in MiLB that I am watching:
1. N. Crismatt 2. PJ Conlon 3. T. Peterson 4. Uceta 5. D. Roseboom and 6. D. Peterson All look promising.
Mike Friere on Matt Harvey
Mike, you were right after all on Matt Harvey pulling a fast one. Matt just admitted on a local Cincinatti radio station that he is actually a left handed pitcher! God, who would have known.
Good one Mike.
Thanks!
Turtle man goes tonight.
Yankees and Mets making a trade possibly?
Who knows. The whole Noah and Jake thing looks like it was originated in a NY Yankees think tank, probably Rheingold.
But there is some gossip centering around the Yankees wanting another decent starter. So who knows.
Yankees do have a couple of decent young starters down at AAA Scranton. Their names Eric Swanson a big right hander, age 24, 5-0, .44 ERA, 52 strikeouts in 40 innings, .81 WHIP. Not bad. And then the up and coming Justus League Sheffield a left handed starter.
Is it me or does Tyler Austin look a little like Eli with a Planet Fitness membership?
Yeah he’s killing it. But! This player is a convicted child molester. He will never play in milb or mlb. There isn’t a single team that would ever draft him. Maybe he gets a shot in pro ball overseas.
