The Rainiers defeated the 51s, 11-5, in game two of the brief five-game homestand before a 51s Camouflage Cap Night crowd of 5,722 at Cashman Field.
Tacoma broke the 3-3 tie with three runs in the sixth inning and then scored five runs over the final two-at bats.
Catcher Chris Herrmann was 3-for-4, walk, solo homer, three runs scored and first baseman Mike Marjama was 3-for-5, triple, HR, 2 RBI, two runs scored.
51s right-hander Cody Martin suffered the loss. He pitched 6 innings and allowed 8 hits, 6 runs, walked 3 and struck out 3.
51s second baseman Christian Colon was 2-for-4, double, triple, RBI, two runs scored and center fielder Matt den Dekker was 2-for-5, double, run scored.
Game three of the series (Tacoma leads 2-0) is Sunday at 12:05 p.m.

Another game where the 51s allowed double digit runs - pitching in Vegas this year has been HELL.
