Reports are out that the Mets are promoting Tim Peterson and Buddy Baumann from AAA, and Scott Copeland from AA.
Moving Juan Lagares from the 10 day to 60 day DL opens up a spot for one of Peterson and Copeland, neither of whom is on the 40 man roster. Baumann already is.
Does this mean the end of Jose Reyes or Adrian Gonzalez or Juan Bautista? Or could there be a, ahem, trade in the works where someone on the 40 man roster is peddled to a team in exchange for cash considerations, pool money or a non-roster player?
It is great to see Jeff Diehl starting out with his pitching experiment in Columbia, assuming that is what they are doing. Besides pitching, he'd instantly be one of the best hitters on the team.
Reyes may not make the round of 12 in Amerimet Idol
