Bisons Famous Vendor “Conehead” to Unveil Herd’s Billboard

on Kensington Expressway on Tuesday, March 3

Conehead to be lifted up onto Billboard Walkway

Conehead, the popular vendor of the Buffalo Bisons, will be hoisted up onto the team’s new billboard on the Kensington Expressway, Tuesday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. to promote the upcoming Bisons season.

Conehead will help Lamar Advertising roll out the billboard to remind fans that Opening Day is just 37 days away: Thursday, April 9 against the Pawtucket Red Sox.

The billboard is one of the last motorists see before the end of the inbound Kensington Expressway.

The billboard is at 289 Cherry St. Interested media are encouraged to take Michigan St. to Cherry St. Once on Cherry, look for fourth billboard on your right. The Bisons’ billboard will replace the Red Cross billboard on the opposite side of the fourth billboard.

Conehead will begin preparing for the unveiling at 2:20 p.m. At approximately 2:30 p.m., a lift will carry him up to the billboard where he will climb out and help unveil the sign.
