When will Adam Bostick get the call to Citifield? What else does the guy have to do to get noticed? Have a peek at last nights line:
Adam Bostick 3 IP, 2 H, ER, 1/3 BB/K, HR, 2.08 era, SV (2), 41:26:15, 2:4:3
Outside of a solo shot, the guy had a solid outing last night. Not to mention a solid year since moving from a starter to the pen. Yes, he is a late bloomer (26 years old), but here are 5 reasons why he belongs in NY today:
- He is left handed and could be an option in 2010 to spell Feliciano.
- 54 K's in 47.2 innings pitched between AA and AAA, with most of that work on a terrible Buffalo team.
- .191 batting average against at AAA.
- 19 walks in 47.2 IP
- He has not given up an earned run to left handed hitters yet this year
