Rustich in the house

So is this where all washed up baseball players go? I'm going to be making a more formal introduction when I'm not typing from an iPhone. Just wanted to stop by and say hello. This is the first February in five years I'm not sitting in Port Saint Lucie preparing for the baseball season. Wow! I must say, I wish it wasn't the case.

Hey Brant.

It's great to have you on board and bring back the player's perspective we used to have when Teddy Dziuba wrote here.

I can't stand not being in Florida right now, but I can't imagine what it must feel like for a player.

A great big WELCOME to you, Brant. Happy to have you here writing for Mack's Mets, but sorry to hear that you're no longer in organized ball. I followed your career since you were drafted out of UCLA in 2007, partly because my son is a graduate of UCLA too, but also because I thought you had great potential. As you moved up the ladder, I was proven right.
