PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. — Opening Day of Spring Training Ticket Sales for the New York Mets will be on Saturday, January 18th. Tickets go on sale at 10am through 4pm at Tradition Field or can be purchased anytime online at stluciemets.com.
The New York Mets will open the 2014 Spring Training season with a game at Tradition Field against the Washington Nationals on Friday, February 28th at 1:10pm. The Mets will play the Miami Marlins, the Houston Astros, the Atlanta Braves, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins for a total of 14 home games this Spring Training.
The Mets will hold their annual job fair for all potential Spring Training and St. Lucie Mets season employees. The job fair will be held in the Conference Room located through Gate 2 from 9am-4pm. Jobs available include ushers, parking attendants, security guards, fan shop retailers and concession stand attendants.
Mets fans will be able to enjoy a FREE hot dog and FREE soda, as well as check out the Mets Fan Shop for sales up to 50% off select items and be the first to see new Spring Training and Mets gear. The stadium will be open for fans to check out their seats after they purchase their tickets.
