If 2014 is another transitional/evaluation type year, then I want Montero as my beloved teams 5th starter right out of spring training.
I agree Ernest.
I want 2014 to be the year that we solidify the future rotation.
Start the season off with Mejia in the rotation... give him the month of April and re-evaluate.
(I will assume that Wheeler, Colon, Gee, and Niese produce below the 4.50 ERA level)
If Mejia can't pound the zone and produce a WHIP under 1.35... send him to the pen with his one pitch and bring up Montero for May
