Mets Minor League Report: August 30, 2014.

Mets Minor League Player of the Day: Binghamton RHRP Hansel Robles.

Be interesting to see if Hansel can push his way into a major league reliever role next year.

Taijeron has shown some progress, and Jairo remains a hitting machine. Molina had some remarkable regular season in Bklyn...perhaps he'll push to make Mets rotation in mid-2016 or start of 2017. Logan Taylor has pitched really well post-injury this yearm

Jairro Perez - ALL he does is hit. Must be around .370. Shame he missed several weeks with injury.

Jairo is rather long in the tooth for St. Lucie. He was hot and cold in the Twins organization, but seems to have come alive since joining the Mets. I think it may just be because he has so much more experience than his adversaries. Another one in that category is T.J. Rivera. Tearing it up at A+ and AA at the age of 25. Maybe these guys can still make it as utility players on the big club.
