Vegas snaps its 10 game skid. Only a month earlier, a 14 game win streak. I guess that makes them...streaky, baby, as Austin Powers might say.


Minor League Players of The Night - Wuilmer Becerra, and Alex Castellanos


Honorable Mention - Eudor Garcia, and the rehabbing duo in St Lucie.


AAA - Las Vegas - (30-27) 9 - El Paso (26-30) 4

Leading El Paso 3-1 going into the bottom of the 6th, supported be a strong pitching performance by Tyler Pill, the 51s tacked on 6 in the 6th.  This made it the night the long losing streak ends.

    RHSP Tyler Pill - 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 4 K, 6.41. And a hit.

Castellanos 6th inning grand salami.  Johnny Monell with 3 RBIs and Reynolds on 4 times through 2 hits and 2 walks, giving him a 7 game hit streak,  Wilfredo Tovar goes yard, #3.

Best of all, Vic Black.  Perfect 9th, with a K.

    Perhaps signs of progress from Bobby Parnell.  Not a terrible outing.  Not a lot of B Met hitting.

Great to see a second straight strong offensive performance by the rehabbing duo of d'Arnaud and Herrera. Time to bring their 2 man show to Broadway.

Wuilmer is completely on fire.  Very interesting. Perhaps a promotion is coming in the very near future. 

Eudor continues to rake since joining the team.  The Gnats stay red hot despite another unimpressive Oswalt start.
