Richard Jones- Tuesday's Spring Training Game

Yesterday was my last spring training game of the year. I learned that Port St. Lucie is very special. When I went on the road with the Mets the facilities did live up to my expectations that were formed in Port St. Lucie. None gave you access to the backfields like the Mets did in Port St. Lucie. The Astros basically gave you no access to practises at the Ball Parks at Palm Beach. We got there at nine but that was fruitless.

Jacob deGrom continued his dominance. He looked like he was in mid season form. He topped out at 97 MPH. His off speed stuff had hitters off balance.

I had nice seats close to the Mets undeck circle. I got some nice shots I will post more later. Sandy was sitting in the same section a couple of rows up. I was also adjacent to the Mets dugout and I got some nice shots of it.

In the 9th Inning Michael Conforto broke his bat to my nephews gain.

Thank you for your very entertaining series here.

Richard, good work.

Jake vs. Thor: when Jake is healthy, he could be the better of the two. He is Seaver-in-his-prime level good.

Cespedes is a beast - our beast!

Richard thank you.

Lived vicariously though your experience. Had a PSL trip planned for last week as well, cancelled when I broke my leg in Dec and am just beginning to walk on two feet. As we used to say in Brooklyn, "Wait till next year."

Hobie -

Break a leg... yeah, I know... done that.

Breaking a leg is way overrated, Hobie, but you are faster than Bartolo Colon anyway
