Last Time Out: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies fell to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 6-0 on Friday night. The two teams have split the first four games of the series. NH starter RHP Chad Dallas allowed just two hits over seven innings in his Double-A debut. 

Rudickulous: Outfielder Matt Rudick extended his hit streak to seven games with a single to centerfield to begin Friday's game. He now has 11 hits during the streak. In the first four games of the series, Rudick is hitting .375 and slashing .474/.875/1.349. He has two homers, two doubles, and 7 RBI in that span. The 24-year-old ranks in the top five in the Eastern League in five offensive categories: 2nd in OBP (.444), 5th in AVG (.306), 4th in OPS (.972), T-5th in RBIs (21), T-5th in doubles (9). 

Masterful Mike: RHP Mike Vasil tossed seven scoreless frames Thursday night in the Rumble Ponies 8-2 win over New Hampshire. He allowed three hits and two walks, and struckout five batters. Vasil lowered his season ERA to 2.19. The 23-yearold ranks first in all of MiLB in WHIP (0.70). He also ranks first in the Eastern League in opponent batting average (.154), third in strikeouts (46), fourth in ERA (2.19), and fourth in innings pitched (37.0). Vasil has an outstanding 46-to-6 strikeout-to-walk ratio on the season through seven starts. 

Miracle Mets: For the second time this week, the Mets pulled off an enthralling comeback win at Citi Field. On Friday night, Francisco Lindor had a walk-off single in the first game of his career against his former team, to give the Mets a 10-9 win over the Cleveland Guardians, the team's third straight victory. Down 5-0, Francisco Álvarez hit a solo home run, his fifth of the year, to put the Mets on the board. Brett Baty blasted a solo home run (#4) to cut the deficit to 5-3 in the sixth. Down 7-3 in the seventh, Pete Alonso tied the game with a grand slam, his MLB leading 17th HR of the year. Mark Vientos and Álvarez had RBI singles in the 10th to tie the game. Alonso, Álvarez, Baty, Vientos, and Jeff McNeil, who also had an RBI single, are all former Rumble Ponies.
