Without further ado, the top 30 pitching prospects are
ranked below by their peak MLB ERA projection, assuming 5 innings pitched per
game (IP/G). The peak projections assume a neutral park in the 2024 MLB scoring
environment, with a 4.08 league average ERA. They capture data through the
games of June 22nd. The 5 IP/G assumption is a conservative one that makes it
easier to compare prospects with different usage patterns. ERA, K%, BB%, and
HR/BBE projections assuming actual past usage (past IP/G) are also shown for
comparison. I use the 50 IP threshold to determine prospect eligibility for
convenience.

Josmir Reyes is a DSL beast. So is Yunior Amparo, who launched his 3rd home run yesterday,
That amazing prospect pitching projection chart has Jonah Tong in some elite company. I am surprised Nolan McLean is not in it.
I don’t know much about this Amparo kid, but he takes walks and steals bases in addition to hitting .500 limited sample to be sure, but excited to see how the rest of his season goes. Also, Peña, 4-5, 2B, 3 HR, 8 RBI yesterday, seems to be settling in.
Soto’s luck with clutch will soon change. It seems that chart does not factor in his solo HRs. He will hit 40, have an OBP over .400. Huge second half.
So was I
The important thing is we have never seen this kind of offensive output by so many DSL kids at the same time
Agree
Young has been sent to Syracuse. Several posters had predicted this over the past few days.
