Mike Puma NY Post: Cuddyer breaks through, carries Mets to thrilling walk-off win. "The veteran outfielder simply raised his right fist as he ran to first base after Sergio Romo left a first-pitch fastball over the plate that Cuddyer served to center field in the ninth inning Thursday, scoring the winning run in the Mets’ 5-4 victory over the Giants at Citi Field...Curtis Granderson was hit by a pitch to start the winning rally. After taking second on Andrew Susac’s passed ball, Granderson went to third on a ground out. Lucas Duda was intentionally walked with two outs before Cuddyer delivered. The game-ending hit was Cuddyer’s first since April 19, 2006, with the Twins...Jeurys Familia (W,2-0) pitched a scoreless ninth for the victory after Jon Niese’s solid performance gave the team a chance."
